Dr. Gruber has extensive background knowledge in athletic, rehabilitative exercise, and biomechanics, having graduated from Brock University with her Bachelors of Kinesiology before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. Her childhood background of competitive downhill skiing coupled with her knowledge gained in school gives her deeper insight into the needs of athletes.
Maddy takes a patient-centered and evidence-based approach to meet her patients where they’re at and addresses their questions and concerns with great care. She utilizes chiropractic manipulation, rehabilitative exercises, movement screening and various soft tissue techniques to provide the best care for her patients and allow them to reach their optimal health and performance goals.
Dr. Gruber has a passion for helping people live and perform better, whether that is in their athletic competitions, running around to get the kids or working on better daily ergonomics. She believes that every patient is an athlete in their own way and provides the same attention-to-detail and skillful craft regardless of the person in front of her. She also has a passion for women’s health and performance, specifically as it relates to the unique athletic obstacles that women face throughout their lifespan.
When she is not in the office you might find her exploring the beautiful BC trails and mountainsides, skiing, running the seawall or working out at a local gym.
