A New Westminster native, Dr. Oliver Sanchez has always had a keen interest in health and wellness. Dr. Sanchez obtained his Bachelor of Sciences with a Minor in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University (SFU). After graduating from SFU, Dr. Sanchez worked as a Personal Trainer for 2 years where he focused on core stability exercises, injury rehabilitation, and performance training. Dr. Sanchez obtained his Doctorate degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA graduating with honors (Magna Cum Laude). While at Palmer West, Dr. Sanchez was an active member in the Student American Chiropractic Association Sports Council where he had the opportunity to provide first aid, medical, and chiropractic services at sporting events such as the Sea Otter Classic, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, San Francisco Marathon, San Jose Marathon, Susan G Koman Walk for the Cure, Cal Bearathalon, North Face Endurance Challenge, and Bay Area Senior Games at Standford University.
Dr. Sanchez is a Certified Graston Technique© Practitioner and Rock Doc (Rock Tape). He utilizes a variety of techniques including adjustments, Graston Technique©, kinesiology taping, and therapeutic exercises to help his patients obtain their health goals and needs.
